Juventus edged ten-man AC Milan 1-0 at the San Siro on Saturday to close the gap on their rivals at the top of the Serie A table.

Manuel Locatelli scored the only goal of the game in the 65th minute, after Milan had been reduced to ten men following the dismissal of Fikayo Tomori for a second bookable offence in the 56th minute.

Juventus dominated possession for much of the game, but they struggled to create clear-cut chances against a well-organized Milan defence. However, they eventually made the breakthrough in the 65th minute when Locatelli curled a superb free-kick into the top corner of the net.

Milan tried to get back into the game in the closing stages, but they were unable to create any clear-cut chances and Juventus held on for a well-deserved victory.

Dusan Vlahovic scored twice as Juventus beat Lazio 3-1 in Serie A on Saturday, to make it two wins out of two for the new season.

The Serbian forward struck in the 10th and 54th minutes, with Kostic adding a third in between for the hosts.

Ciro Immobile pulled one back for Lazio late on, but it was not enough to prevent them from slipping to their first defeat of the campaign.

The match

Juventus started the game brightly and took the lead early on, with Vlahovic heading home a cross from Filip Kostic.

Lazio responded well to the setback and had a number of chances to equalise, but they were unable to find the back of the net.

Juventus doubled their lead in the 34th minute, with Kostic scoring a superb solo goal. The Serbian winger picked up the ball just outside his own half and dribbled past several Lazio defenders before finishing calmly.

Lazio continued to press for a goal in the second half, but they were unable to break down the Juventus defense.

Vlahovic then sealed the victory for Juventus in the 54th minute, with his second goal of the game. The Serbian striker finished off a quick counter-attack, after being played through by Kostic.

Ciro Immobile pulled one back for Lazio in the 73rd minute, with a header from a corner kick. However, it was too little too late for the visitors, as Juventus held on to secure a comfortable victory.

The reaction

Juventus fans were delighted with the performance of their team, and particularly with the performance of Dusan Vlahovic.

The Serbian striker has now scored four goals in two games for Juventus, and he is quickly becoming a fan favourite.

Lazio fans were disappointed with the result, but they will be hoping that their team can bounce back in their next game.
