Tottenham Hotspur moved top of the Premier League table with a 2-0 victory over Fulham at Craven Cottage on Saturday afternoon.

Son Heung-min and James Maddison scored the goals for Spurs, who were excellent throughout the game.

Son opened the scoring in the 15th minute with a superb solo goal. He picked up the ball on the left-hand side of the pitch, dribbled past two Fulham defenders and then finished off the move with a powerful shot into the bottom corner.

Maddison doubled Spurs' lead in the 30th minute with a well-taken free-kick. He curled the ball over the wall and into the top corner of the net, leaving Fulham goalkeeper Bernd Leno with no chance.

Fulham tried to get back into the game in the second half, but Spurs defended well and limited them to a few half-chances.

Spurs' victory was a deserved one. They were the better team throughout the game and created more chances.
