Juventus edged ten-man AC Milan 1-0 at the San Siro on Saturday to close the gap on their rivals at the top of the Serie A table.

Manuel Locatelli scored the only goal of the game in the 65th minute, after Milan had been reduced to ten men following the dismissal of Fikayo Tomori for a second bookable offence in the 56th minute.

Juventus dominated possession for much of the game, but they struggled to create clear-cut chances against a well-organized Milan defence. However, they eventually made the breakthrough in the 65th minute when Locatelli curled a superb free-kick into the top corner of the net.

Milan tried to get back into the game in the closing stages, but they were unable to create any clear-cut chances and Juventus held on for a well-deserved victory.
