Arsenal put on a dominant display to thrash Sheffield United 5-0 at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Eddie Nketiah scored a hat-trick for the Gunners, while Takehiro Tomiyasu and Fabio Vieira also got on the scoresheet.

Arsenal started the game brightly and took the lead in the 10th minute through Nketiah. The English striker finished off a flowing move involving Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard.

Arsenal doubled their lead in the 25th minute through Vieira. The Portuguese midfielder curled a free-kick into the top corner of the net.

Arsenal continued to press for more goals in the first half and Nketiah completed his hat-trick in the 45th minute. The striker headed home a corner kick from Odegaard.

Arsenal started the second half slowly but they added to their lead in the 65th minute through Tomiyasu. The Japanese defender finished off a cross from Saka.

Arsenal continued to create chances in the closing stages but they were unable to add to their tally.
