The race was won by Max Verstappen of Red Bull Racing, who started from pole position. Verstappen led the entire race and finished over 10 seconds ahead of his teammate Sergio Pérez in second place. Charles Leclerc of Ferrari finished third.

The victory was Verstappen's eleventh of the season and it extended his lead in the Drivers' Championship to over 100 points. Red Bull also secured the Constructors' Championship with the victory.

The race was a thrilling one from start to finish. Verstappen and Pérez got away well at the start and they quickly built up a lead over the rest of the field. Leclerc was able to keep up with the Red Bulls in the early stages of the race, but he eventually fell back.
